Sports Betting Canadian 2015 NHL Bracket Contest

After only having 1 Canadian NHL team in the playoffs last year, we are lucky enough to have 5 teams with the chance to bring the Stanley Cup back to Canada this season.  To celebrate I’m launching the first annual NHL Bracket Contest hosted by SportsBettingCanadian.ca.

I’m sure that most of you reading this filled out at least one March Madness bracket at some point in your life.  This NHL bracket contest works in the exact same way.  You simply pick which team will win each series throughout the NHL playoffs.

Prizes

Before I get into the details of how the contest will work I’ll let you know what prizes we are offering this playoffs.  We are still a fairly new site so I can’t afford to offer a huge prize pool, but if you sign up and tell your friends about the site then hopefully the prize pool will become bigger in later years.  For now here are the 2015 NHL Playoff Bracket prizes:

• 1st place – $100 voucher for use betting on sports online.
• 2nd-9th place – $25 sports betting vouchers.

So the total prize pool is valued at $300, with a $100 first place prize.  Because we are still a very new site I’m not expecting a great deal of entries, so this is still very good value for those of you who enter.

Point Structure

Here is how the points will be awarded:

• 1st round = 5 points
• 2nd round = 7 points
• Conference Finals = 10 points
• Stanley Cup Champion = 15 points

**If there is a tie after the correct score tie-breaker, the prize will be split evenly among the tied entrants.

How To Enter

In order to enter this contest I’m asking that you like the Sports Betting Canadian facebook page and sign up to the Sports Betting Canadian newsletter.  Below are the steps you should take to join the contest.  If you do not complete the steps you will be ineligible.
