CFL Week 21 Spread Betting Picks 2018

The final week of the 2018 CFL season is upon us.  The six playoff teams are already set, but there is still some possible movement in the West Division, including the top spot in the league up for grabs depending on the Stampeders game with the Lions to close out this week.  I went 2-2 on my spread picks in week 20.  The week didn’t start out well with my Stampeders and Ti-Cats picks losing to start the week, but we closed strong with the Riders and Alouettes to bring the season record to 36-27 heading into this final week.

I will be using the odds from SportsInteraction.com for my CFL picks throughout the season.  They are our top rated sportsbook for Canadians.  Check out our full SIA review here.

Toronto Argonauts @ Ottawa Redblacks

  • Toronto +7
  • Ottawa -7

The Argos have mailed it in for the season.  We saw the lack of effort last week in Montreal and I’m not expecting Toronto to come out playing well in this one either.  Ottawa may rest some players, but they will also want to stay sharp having a bye week coming out after locking down the top spot in the East Division.

I’m expecting more effort out of the Redblacks looking to stay playing well heading into the playoffs, than the Argos who will just be going through the motions.

Play: Redblacks -7

Winnipeg Blue Bombers @ Edmonton Eskimos

  • Winnipeg +5
  • Edmonton -5

Winnipeg will be looking ahead to their semi-final game against either the Roughriders or Stampeders, but I still think they will play a solid game in Edmonton.

The Eskimos are coming out of a bye week with the knowledge that they have been eliminated from the playoffs.  I expect they went through the motions in their week 20 bye week and I think most of the players will likely already be in offseason mode.

Look for the Bombers to win this game in Edmonton regardless of if they rest some key players.

Play: Blue Bombers +5

Montreal Alouettes @ Hamilton Tiger-Cats

  • Montreal +6
  • Hamilton -6

There’s something about this Montreal team where I think they will continue to fight for pride through this week.  We saw last week how they put out a strong effort against the Argos and I think they have one more solid game in them this week.

The Ti-Cats are playing the Lions in the East Division semi-finals next week, so I expect them to rest most of their starters and be looking ahead to the Lions game, which should allow the Alouettes to at least keep this one close.

I’m expecting Montreal to play a solid game and for Hamilton to be more concerned about staying healthy and getting everyone peaking for the playoffs, than beating up on a divisional rival.

Play: Alouettes +6

Calgary Stampeders @ BC Lions

There is no line for this game at the time I’m writing the article.  I may come back and update this section once the line is available.
