We’re launching the Sports Betting Canadian MLB Playoffs Bracket Contest for 2026. This year we will be giving away $525 in prizes and the contest is free to enter for Canadian residents. All of the details can be found below.
Our MLB Playoffs Bracket Contest is very simple. You pick which team will win each series throughout the 2026 MLB Playoffs and accumulate points for correct predictions. The postseason gets underway on Tuesday, September 29th with the Wild Card Series, and the World Series begins on Friday, October 23rd.

Prizes
There is $525 available to be won in this contest. The prizes are paid out in Visa prepaid cards. The top 10 places will be paid.
Here’s the breakdown:
- 1st place – $200
- 2nd place – $100
- 3rd place – $50
- 4th-10th – $25
I’m not sure how many entries to expect, so there could be a great chance to win a prize in this contest.
Point Structure
Here is how the points will be awarded:
- Wild Card Series = 5 points
- Division Series = 7 points
- League Championship Series = 10 points
- World Series = 15 points
- Bonus Points = 1 bonus point for every upset pick (lower seed)
*The bonus point for upset picks should help us avoid ties.
**That said, we will still have a tie-breaker, which will be the total runs scored in the entire World Series.
If entries are still tied after the Score Tie-Breaker, the higher prize will be paid out to all tied entries.

Rules
- Open to Canadian residents 18+ (or age of majority in your province/territory).
- Entries must be submitted before the first pitch of the 2026 MLB Playoffs on Tuesday, September 29th.
- One entry per person.
- Winners will be contacted via the email provided at Office Pool Junkie and must respond within 7 days or the prize will be forfeited.
- As required by Canadian law, winners must correctly answer a skill-testing question to claim their prize.
- Prizes are awarded as Visa prepaid cards and are non-transferable.
- SportsBettingCanadian.ca reserves the right to disqualify any entry suspected of fraud.
