CFL Week 20 Betting Picks

My CFL picks continue to add more profit, with yet another 3-1 record in week 19. Things didn’t get off to a good start with the Alouettes failing to cover against the Argos, but the Riders, Ti-Cats and Bombers all came through for me for another solid week.

My record now sits at 31-23-2 for my CFL spread picks this season. I will be using the odds from SportsInteraction.com for my pick again this week. They are our top rated betting site for Canadians and they are actually partnered with several CFL teams this season. Check out our full SIA review here.

Calgary Stampeders @ Winnipeg Blue Bombers

  • Calgary -2.5
  • Winnipeg +2.5

Last week the Stampeders were 7 point favourites at home and in my breakdown I said that spread was pretty accurate, but I’d take the points. The Stampeders took the win by 4 points. This week, the game is in Winnipeg, but I still think Calgary is the better team and I don’t believe that home field advantage is huge between these two teams.

I like Calgary to go into Winnipeg and get another win. Calgary is battling with Saskatchewan for the top spot in the West Division and if they win out they should get that coveted bye in the first round of the playoffs and home field advantage in the West Finals. I like the Stampeders to have a big game and win by more than they did last week in Calgary.

Play: Stampeders -2.5

Hamilton Tiger-Cats @ Montreal Alouettes

  • Hamilton -2.5
  • Montreal +2.5

The Ti-Cats are cruising, but I do not expect them to take it easy against the Alouettes in this potential East Final match-up. I think Hamilton will head into Montreal and look to demoralize this Alouettes team into thinking they don’t have a shot if they do get the crossover win and meet Hamilton in the East Division finals.

The Ti-Cats are on another level than the Alouettes and I expect them to show it this week.

Play: Tiger-Cats -2.5

Ottawa Redblacks @ Toronto Argonauts

  • Ottawa +5
  • Toronto -5

I’m going to continue fading the Redblacks to close out the season. The 17 point spread in Hamilton may have seemed big, but the Ti-Cats really had no trouble covering.

The Argos are bad, but they aren’t as bad as Ottawa. Toronto can actually score some points, which the Redblacks can’t able to do. I like Toronto to get this win and avoid last place in the CFL this season.

Play: Argonauts -5
