I was able to bounce back from one of my only losing weeks of the season by going 3-1 in week 18. The Argos, Bombers and Eskimos all came through for me, while the Stampeders won by 2 points, which didn’t quite cover the -2.5 and prevented the perfect week.

Toronto Argonauts @ Montreal Alouettes

The Argos were able to get a win last week, but it was over the lowly Redblacks. Ottawa and Toronto are easily the worst two teams in the league this season and I expect the Alouettes to put up big points vs the Argos at home this Friday.
Montreal is 5-2 at home this season and I don’t see any reason why they won’t get this win and continue their stellar play leading into the playoffs.

Saskatchewan Roughriders @ BC Lions

The Lions were stifled by the Eskimos defense last week in Edmonton, and I think this showed that the Lions recent string of success was primarily due to playing weak opponents for a stretch.
The Roughriders are a top team in this league that is in a battle with Calgary for the coveted top spot in the West. I think they come into BC and win this game by double digits.

Ottawa Redblacks @ Hamilton Tiger-Cats
- Ottawa +17.5
- Hamilton -17.5
This is a huge spread, but I still can’t pick the Redblacks at this point in the season. Ottawa won’t be able to put up any points in Hamilton, and the Ti-Cats should have their way running up the score in this one.
It’s tough to lay 17.5 points to anyone, but this is a spot where I think the Ti-Cats could be even bigger favourites.

Winnipeg Blue Bombers @ Calgary Stampeders

- Calgary -7
The Bombers looked solid getting the win last week vs Montreal. This week they head out on the road to face Calgary in a game that will have huge ramifications on who claims that huge top spot in the West.
I think the spread is pretty much spot on in this game. I like the Stampeders to win, but I think the Bombers may be able to keep things close. I probably won’t be betting this line myself, but I’ll take the Bombers +7 as my lean.
