NHL Betting Picks November 3rd

Sport Betting Canadian Hockey MascotI had a solid night on the Tuesday slate hitting a couple of solid underdogs in the Coyotes at odds of 2.50 and the Ducks at 2.15.  It would have been a perfect night if it hadn’t been for the Leafs taking down the Oilers in OT.

I’m using the best odds from any of our top rated betting sites for Canadians for my picks below.  Here’s a list of those top sites:

Toronto Maple Leafs @ Buffalo Sabres

Buffalo SabresThe Leafs are playing better hockey of late, but they’re still quite a bit overrated by the bookies in my opinion.  They’ve lost all 6 of their games on the road to this point in the season and they’re still very susceptible to goals against, especially on the road.

The Sabres, on the other hand, are on a three game winning streak and they’ve only given up 2 goals in that span.  Robin Lehner is playing some great hockey and I expect this team to be up for this rivalry game with the Leafs.

Vancouver Canucks @ Ottawa Senators

Vancouver Canucks LogoMike Condon is playing tonight with the Sens wasting no time getting him some action in the net.  I think this is a very tough spot for Condon to come into, with Craig Anderson playing some great emotional hockey, those are some big shoes to fill.  I see this as a let down spot for the Senators and I wouldn’t be surprised if they are outplayed tonight, even against a sub par team that is on the second of back to backs.

And let’s not forget that the Canucks played very well in Montreal last night, but just could not beat Carey Price.  I don’t foresee the same issue against Mike Condon in Ottawa.

Play: Canucks 2.50

New Jersey Devils @ Florida Panthers

New Jersey Devils LogoYou’ve probably noticed I’m taking the Devils a lot this year and I’m not going to stop now.  Cory Schneider has played great all season, as expected, and with Taylor Hall added to the lineup the goal scoring isn’t as big of an issue as it has been in the past.  The Devils are on a nice run right now with 7 points in their last 4 games and this includes a huge win over the Bolts last Saturday.

On the flip side the Panthers are trending downwards having lost 4 of their past 5 games.  They’ve had trouble scoring of late as well and I expect them to have a tough time finding the back of the net against this Devils team lead by Schneider between the pipes.

Play: Devils 2.35 @ SportsInteraction.com
