Back to back 2-0 weeks for my NFL picks and I’m into the profit on the season. The Bengals and Broncos both came through for me last week.
I’m now 7-5 with my NFL picks for the season and 4-0 over the past two weeks.
Arizona Cardinals @ New York Giants
- Arizona +3
- New York -3
I’ve been impressed with the Cardinals this season. Kyler Murray seems to finding his groove over the last few years and the offense actually has some decent weapons with David Johnson and Larry Fitzgerald. The Cardinals have won 2 in a row and they have a great opportunity this week to make it 3 in a row and actually have a winning record after 6 weeks.
The Giants had their honeymoon period with Daniel Jones in his first two games, but let’s not forget those wins came against the Bucs (who find ways to lose) and the lowly Redskins. The offense did not have success the past two weeks against the Vikings and Patriots, and although I do think the Giants offense will have more success this week against the Cards, I don’t think they will be able to keep up with Murray and company.
I like Arizona to get a win in a tight game.
Play: Cardinals +3
New England Patriots @ New York Jets
- New England -10
- New York +10
The Jets looked good with Darnold back under center this past week, winning as 7 point dogs in Dallas. That performance likely kept this spread from being closer to 14, but I think the optimism of this Jets team with Darnold may be a little bit premature. The Cowboys have not looked good over the past few weeks and the players look demoralized.
The Patriots are the exact opposite of the Cowboys at 6-0 and continuing to pick up confidence by pummeling all of the weaker teams in the league.
I don’t think Darnold will have the success against this Patriots defense that is playing terrific through 6 games. I also expect the Pats to put up 25+ against this Jets defense. Those two things combined should result in the Patriots covering this spread and winning this game by double digits.
Play: Patriots -10
