Last night did not go at all the way I had imagined. The Bruins did not look sluggish at all after playing the night before and took it to the Devils the entire game. This resulted in a 3-0 loss for the Devils and a rough night in general for us. Tonight there are 4 games on tap and I’m going to get away from my strategy of a single play here because I see a lot of value in a few of the games tonight.

Columbus Blue Jackets @ Toronto Maple Leafs
The struggling Maple Leafs who have lost 3 in a row and only won 2 of their last 10 games host a Blue Jackets team that has been playing very well of late in front of a stellar goaltender in Bobrovsky. The Leafs haven’t been scoring too well in their last few games with only 4 goals for over their last 3 outings on a team that is struggling to even get very many shots on their opponents.
The Blue Jackets have been scoring big chucnks of goals lately with 20 goals for in their last 5 games. The Blue Jackets are on the road tonight, but the way the Leafs have been playing I’m very surprised to see that they are still fairly big favourites in this one.
I’m going to actually make two plays on this game because you very rarely see an over/under of 6 goals, and I don’t see the Leafs suddenly finding their offense to help get the total above that number.

Chicago Blackhawks @ Edmonton Oilers
The Blackhawks are big favourites on the road and playing their second game of back to back nights, but when you’re going into Edmonton you deserve to be the favourites no matter what. I see the Blackhawks easily finding a way to beat the lowly Oilers in this one.
