It’s Monday and I’m back with a couple NHL plays for tonight. I took the weekend off, but there are plenty of games on tap tonight and some really good value from what I can see.

Carolina Hurricanes @ Ottawa Senators
The Sens have been playing some good hockey lately. They lit up the Oilers 7-2 on Saturday and now they have another struggling franchise coming to the Canadian Tire Centre this evening. Robin Lehner has found his game of late after getting a lot of action in the Sens net. I like the Senators to get another W against a weak opponent tonight.

Arizona Coyotes @ Colorado Avalanche
The Avs have not been playing good hockey this year. If it hasn’t been for Semyon Varlamov the Avs would have even fewer points than they do now. The reverse is somewhat true for the Coyotes who haven’t gotten great play out of Mike Smith this season. At the odds being given tonight though I think the smart money has to be on the Coyotes. I think they will carry more of the play this evening and if they can solve the Avalanche netminder they will be looking good to win tonight.
