Nashville Predators @ Colorado Avalanche
The Preds have not impressed me since the trade deadline and I think they may be an early casualty again in these playoffs. Tonight they play an Avalanche team that has already been eliminated from playoff contention, but one with a good amount of skill who have played well at home this season. The Preds on the other hand have not been great on the road this entire season and I expect more of the same tonight. The Preds are still looking to find their form from earlier in the season, but I don’t think they will find it tonight in Denver.

Los Angeles Kings @ Edmonton Oilers
The Kings are still fighting for their playoff lives, but luckily they are playing the Oilers tonight. Edmonton is one of the worst teams in the league and I can’t possibly see a veteran team like the Kings losing this game and not picking up the maximum points tonight. The Kings have been playing great hockey lately, but they need these points because the Flames, who they are chasing, also have a very easy opponent in the Arizona Coyotes tonight. Look for the Kings to win this game and set up a huge game against the Flames on Thursday.
