I had a really bad night on Thursday, but today’s a new day and there are plenty of games to choose from. I’m going to keep my selections to a minimum and just go with my top picks today to try to turn things around.

I like the Wild this season. The Lightning have been playing well, but when I can find the Wild as a pretty big dog I’m all over it.

I like the Bruins in this one at home. They’ve been playing very well of late, winning 3 straight and owning an 8-2-0 record in their last 10. The Bruins have had a really hard time with the Habs of late, but I think they find a way to get the W tonight.

Buffalo Sabres @ Washington Capitals
The Sabres have actually won 2 games in a row! I’m going to back them tonight as massive dogs against a Capitals team I just don’t really believe in. The odds that you can get on Buffalo this season are pretty crazy.

Detroit Red Wings @ Toronto Maple Leafs
There’s just so much bad press about the Leafs lately that I think that may have swayed the odds in this occasion. Detroit hasn’t been good on the road this season and the Leafs actually aren’t as bad as people think right now. I’m taking Toronto in this one.
