Free NHL Betting Picks November 13th, 2014

Sport Betting Canadian Hockey MascotMy lone play last night really never had a chance as the Bruins absolutely laid an egg against the Maple Leafs in the game in Toronto last night.  The only positive I can see is that there are several games on tap tonight so I can look to turn this bad streak around with some smart picks.

NHL Season Record: 31-35 for +2.17 units.

Boston Bruins @ Montreal Canadiens

Boston Bruins LogoThe Bruins were embarrassed last night by the Leafs, but they get the opportunity to put that game behind them quickly in Montreal.  The Habs are a very strong team this year, but you can be sure the Bruins are itching to get after another one of their rivals and stop the bleeding that began last night.  I would expect Niklas Svedberg to be between the pipes tonight after Rask played last night, and Niklas has been quite good this year with a .933 save percentage and 1.87 GAA through 4 games.

Play: Bruins 2.10 @ SportsInteraction.com

San Jose Sharks @ Tampa Bay Lightning

Tampa Bay Lightning LogoFrom what I’ve seen from the Sharks they just truly aren’t that good this year. They are a bubble playoff team if they keep playing like they have, which is very rare for a Sharks team that has been strong for so many years.  Tampa Bay though has shown they have tremendous depth throughout the organization and they have been winning even without Hedman in the lineup.  I think that should continue tonight.

Play: Lightning 1.724 @ PinnacleSports.com

Arizona Coyotes @ Calgary Flames

Arizona CoyotesWhen I see the Flames as significant favourites, you can bet that I will generally be fading them.  The Flames have been a lot better than I thought so far this season, but they’ve started to give up a lot of goals of late (16 in their last 4 games) and you can’t win when you’re giving up 4 goals a game.  The Coyotes are coming off a couple tough losses to the Stars and Islanders, but they still haven’t been playing badly and I like them to get a big W tonight.

Play: Coyotes 2.22 @ 5Dimes.eu

Ottawa Senators @ Edmonton Oilers

Ottawa SenatorsThe Sens did not play well in Vancouver a couple nights ago, and have now lost three in a row dating back to their two games on the weekend.  That said, before the Canucks game the Sens were playing pretty well and I think a game against the Oilers is just what the doctor ordered to help the Senators find their defensive game.  I’m expecting Craig Anderson to be back in net because he once again played quite well against the Canucks and he’s the type of goaltender who can play well several games in a row if he gets on a roll.  I like the Senators to end their losing streak here tonight.

Play: Senators 1.952 @ 5Dimes.eu
