CFL Week 12 Betting Picks

Last week was an interesting one for my CFL picks. The week started off well with the Blue Bombers not only beating the spread, but winning the game in Edmonton. That turned out to be the only win of the week though, with the RedBlacks failing to show up in Saskatchewan, and the Ti-Cats being on the wrong side of the spread by 0.5 points in BC. In the final game of the week, we got our first push of the season with the Alouettes beating Toronto by 6, which resulted in a 1-2-1 week.

I’m now 15-12-1 with my CFL picks this season. I will be using the odds from SportsInteraction.com for my CFL picks again this week. They are our top rated betting site for Canadians and they are actually partnered with several CFL teams this season. Check out our full SIA review here.

Winnipeg Blue Bombers @ Saskatchewan Roughriders

  • Winnipeg +6.5
  • Saskatchewan -6.5

The Bombers proved they are the top team in the CFL at the moment with their big win in Edmonton this past week. They will have yet another big test this week on the road in Saskatchewan.

The Blue Bombers are once again sizable underdogs in Saskatchewan this week. The Riders have been great of late, but I’m going to take Winnipeg +6.5 against anyone at this point in the season. They are 8-2 with the best D in the league. They barely had to throw the ball at all against Edmonton last week and still came out with the win.

The fact that backup QB Chris Streveler can pick up yards on the feet should open up the field and I expect him to be able to make a few more throws this week vs Saskatchewan. Give me the 8-2 Blue Bombers as 6.5 point dogs.

Play: Blue Bombers +6.5

Toronto Argonauts @ Hamilton Tiger-Cats

  • Toronto +12
  • Hamilton -12

Hamilton won a defensive battle in BC last week, but they should be able to run the score up this week at home vs the Argos.

I expect Dane Evans to take another step forward in his development this week and find a way to run the score up on the Argos.

Toronto is now 1-9 and they’ve given up 34.4 points against per game. I think the Ti-Cats should be able to shut down the Argos offense, while having their way on offense.

Play: Ti-Cats -12

Edmonton Eskimos @ Calgary Stampeders

  • Edmonton +2.5
  • Calgary -2.5

I expect the Stampeders to come out of their bye week ready to attack the second half of the season. This is a Grey Cup caliber team that lost two games heading into their bye week.

The Stampeders get the Eskimos at home out of their bye. This is a big test, but I’ve been fading the Eskies all season and I’m not going to stop now.

I like Calgary to get this win by a couple touchdowns.

Play: Stampeders -2.5
