Real Madrid is looking to repeat as Champions League tournament winner for the first time since AC Milan went back to back in 1989 and 1990. In fact, this Real Madrid team is looking to win their third Champions League title in a four year span, which would no doubt cement their legacy as one of the best club soccer teams of all time.
Standing in their way is a Juventus team that his ridden an amazing commitment to team defense en route to the finals. Juventus won their domestic league this year, while only allowing 27 goals in 38 matches played. They’ve done even better defensively in the Champions League tournament only allowing 4 goals against in 12 matches, which includes two clean sheets against the high powered Barcelona squad in the quarter-finals.
Champions League Finals Odds
Here are the odds for the Champions League finals match, which takes place this Saturday in Wales. I will start with the 1×2 odds for the match and then also provide the odds to win the trophy, and the double chance odds, which is where I really like one of the plays. I’ll be using the best odds available for each bet from our top rated betting sites.
To Win The Trophy
- Real Madrid/Draw 1.42 (Bet365)
- Juventus/Draw 1.53 (Bet365)
- Real Madrid/Juventus 1.36 (Bet365)
This game is going to be the classic offense vs defense battle. Real Madrid have been lighting up the Champions League tournament, scoring 2+ goals in all but their last game against Atletico Madrid, where they were protecting a 3-0 aggregate lead from the first leg of the tie. This Real Madrid team has been able to score in bunches all year long, but this Juventus team will be extremely difficult to penetrate for top quality chances.
I do expect Real Madrid to control the play in this match, but like I said, Juventus was able to keep the high octane offense of Barcelona off the board for two straight games, so it’s hard to say confidently that Real Madrid will score a goal.
That said, I do think Real Madrid has a better chance to penetrate and score than Juventus does on the counter attack. I see this game finishing regulation time either 0-0 or 1-0 for Real Madrid. I don’t think Real Madrid will make the mistake of allowing a goal against a club that has proven itself so difficult to score on.
For this reason, my favourite bet for this match is a double chance bet taking Real Madrid or Draw at odds of 1.42.
