The 2026 Winter Olympics get underway in Milan and Cortina, Italy on February 6th. NHL players are back in the Winter Olympics for the first time since 2014 in Sochi, which adds a lot of hype to the Winter Olympics here in Canada, as Canadians are always up for some best on best hockey, as shown by last years Four Nations Face-Off. Event outside of hockey, the Canadian Olympic team should be a top performing country in Italy, with the Canadians having the 4th best chance at winning the most Gold Medals according to the odds found at SportsInteraction.com.
The hype should build up as the games begin, medals begin to be handed out and the action is broadcast every evening and morning on CBC, TSN and Sportsnet here in Canada. With all of this coverage I expect many Canadians to be looking to bet on the Olympics online. Because of this I created this simple 3 step guide to betting on the 2026 Olympics at our top rated betting site.

#2. Deposit Funds
Once you’ve created an account you will need to make a deposit in order to have money to bet on the Olympics.
Check out our deposit options page for more information about the different deposit methods available at SIA and the other Canadian sportsbooks.
#3. Place Your Winter Olympics Bets
You’re now ready to place your bets. Sports Interaction has each individual sport available for selection in their sportsbook. You can select ‘Hockey’ from the Top Sports menu for Winter Olympics hockey betting, or you can select any of the other Olympics sports such as Alpine Skiing, Bobsleigh, Cross Country Skiing, Curling, Figure Skating, Skeleton, Ski Jumping, and more. Once on the specific sport page you can select the individual event, and then select the odds of the athlete/country you want to wager on.
Here’s a screenshot of the events you can select after clicking on the ‘Alpine Skiing’ as the sport.
SIA will have odds for all of the events in Italy from skiing to skating and everything in between.
I’ve found that if you do your research you can find some great value with different Winter Olympics bets. The athletes with the most hype, who are the favourites according to the odds, may not actually be the rightful favourites if you put in the research.
To find the Winter Olympics odds for any event at SportsInteraction.com click the Sport from the left sidebar in the sportsbook, and then select the Event. You can then select the bet you want to make, enter your risk amount on the Bet Slip, and click ‘Place Bet’ to make your wager.
