The Toronto Blue Jays and Los Angeles Dodgers are set to battle it out in the 2025 World Series, starting this Friday evening in Toronto. The defending champion LA Dodgers are favourites after cruising through the postseason dropping just one game (9-1 record) while defeating the Reds, Phillies, and Brewers. The Blue Jays finished atop the American League standings with a 94-68 record used their home-field advantage to defeat the Yankees 3-1 and Mariners 4-3 to advance to their first World Series since 1993.
In this article I’ll look at the series odds, give my prediction and also provide a simple three step guide for any Canadians new to betting online that would like to bet on this years World Series.

This is a Canadian betting site, so I’m rolling with the Toronto Blue Jays. It’s a big ask playing against a roster as deep and star studded as the Dodgers, but the Blue Jays have battle adversity all year and found the big moments when they needed them. The Blue Jays have home run hitters, but they’ve also shown the ability to advance runners and put up runs when they need them.
The Blue Jays have been amazing at home the entire season (54-27 at home in the regular season) and I think the home-field advantage in the World Series could play a significant factor (20 of the past 29 World Series champions had home field advantage). At almost 2-1 odds, I think the smart money has to be on the Jays.
