I hope you were on Lamar Miller from my week 6 running back article. He went off for 35.8 DK points with 2 touchdowns, 178 rushing/receiving yards and 3 receptions. He was a must have if you wanted to perform near the top of GPP’s and was included in this weeks Millionaire Maker lineup. If you paired him with James White (another one of my 4 targets) who was only 4.4% owned and just $4,100 you would have differentiated your lineup and still hit big with 26.6 fantasy points. Both of these guys went off for 5 times their DK salaries, which is massive and exactly what you need in a GPP players ceiling.
I have 3 more targets this week and hopefully at least 2 of them go off for massive games like last weeks.
DeMarco Murray ($7200)
We saw how Lamar Miller went off against the Colts last week and I expect the same kind of production out of Murray this week. He had an off week against the Browns last week, but this Colts defense is far worse against the run and the fact that DeMarco Murray is active in all aspects of the offense, which is huge for this game against the Colts, as they are the worst team in the league against running backs through the air according to FootballOutsiders.com.
I would be very surprised if Murray doesn’t get back to breaking the 20 point plateau this week and I actually give it about a 50% chance that this is the game he breaks 30 DK points for the first time this season.
Jacquizz Rodgers ($4300)
With Doug Martin doubtful for the game after suffering a setback during the the Bucs bye week it should be another Rodgers week out of the backfield for the Bucs. When he has a full workload Jacquizz is the perfect running back for DK. He has the ability to break big plays and also catches a lot out of the backfield. In week 5 Rodgers rushed 101 yards on 30 carries, while also catching 5 passes for 28 yards. That performance earned him 20.9 DK points and if he gets into the end zone this week, he could have similar numbers and a monster score on DK. I think he’s almost a must-play at this price tag.
Low(er) Owned Tournament Play
David Johnson ($7400)
I don’t expect Johnson to be that low owned, but because he’s up against the Seahawks, who are known to have a stout run defense I think many people could be off of him. That said, he’s absolutely flying right now with 36.5 and 37.8 fantasy points in his last two games and this Cardinals offense finally seems to be getting it together, which helps his fantasy potential significantly. The Cardinals are at home in this game and Seahawks are actually 19th in the league against running backs through the air, which definitely helps Johnson as he can catch passes out of the backfield and turn them into big plays.
Johnson’s price tag dropped from $8k last week to just $7400 this week because he’s playing the Seahawks and I think it’s worthwhile to take him as a pivot to DeMarco Murray in some of your tournament lineups.

Rodgers and Murray are going to be the chalk this week, but I think they are both too good of plays to fade. I’ll likely have Rodgers in every one of my lineups this week, while I will pivot to Johnson from Murray on some occasions to differentiate.
