2023 Breeders’ Stakes Morning Line Odds and How To Bet Guide

By Horse Racing

The Canadian Triple Crown is headed back to Woodbine Racetrack this Sunday for the 2023 Breeders’ Stakes.  There will be no Canadian Triple Crown winner this year, but there is a huge field of 18 strong horses competing, including King’s Plate winner, Paramount Prince. The race will have a purse of $400,000 and has an estimated post time of 5:42pm on October 1st.

The race will be broadcast live in Canada on TSN from 5-6pm EST.

In this article I’ve broken down the morning line odds for each horse, given my personal prediction and also provided you with a simple 3 step guide to betting on the race if you’re new to gambling online.

  1. Kaukokaipuu 8-1
  2. British Artillery 20-1
  3. Simcoe 30-1
  4. Hemlo Gold 30-1
  5. Tiburon 30-1
  6. Tito’s Calling 10-1
  7. Paramount Prince 7-2
  8. Sammy Stone 15-1
  9. Midnight in Malibu 15-1
  10. Philip My Dear 20-1
  11. Touch’n Ride 6-1
  12. Elysian Field 5-2
  13. Twowaycrossing 20-1
  14. Wickenheiser 10-1
  15. Enjoythesilent 20-1
  16. Legal Catch 12-1
  17. Over and Ollie 20-1
  18. Greystone 30-1

I personally like Elysian Field to follow up his second place finish at the Queen’s Plate with a win at the Breeders’ Stakes on Sunday. This horse just keeps improving each time out, and he should be well rested having not ran since the King’s Plate.
