2020 Breeders’ Stakes Morning Line Odds and How To Bet Guide

The Canadian Triple Crown is headed back to Woodbine Racetrack this Saturday for the 2020 Breeders’ Stakes.  Mighty Heart won both the Queen’s Plate and Prince of Wales Stakes, so there is potential for a Triple Crown winner for the first time since Wando won in 2003. Tune in on TSN from 5-6pm EST on Saturday. The race has an estimated post time of 5:39pm.

Mighty Heart is the even money favourite to complete the Triple Crown, according to the morning line. The field of 12 horses includes Belichick and Clayton, who will be the two top contenders to spoil the potential Triple Crown win. In this article I’ve broken down the morning line odds for each horse, given my personal prediction and also provided you with a simple 3 step guide to betting on the race if you’re new to gambling online.

2020 Breeders’ Stakes Morning Line Odds

Below are the betting odds for the Breeders’ Stakes.  These are the morning line odds, which are merely an estimate of what the final odds will be for each horse.  The actual odds are determined by the amount of money that is wagered on each horse on race day.  Check out our parimutuel betting page for more information on how the odds work for horse racing.

  1. Meyer 30/1
  2. Enchant Me 50/1
  3. Clayton 6/1
  4. Olliemyboy 12/1
  5. English Conqueror 12/1
  6. Glorious Tribute 30/1
  7. Deviant 30/1
  8. Mighty Heart 1-1
  9. Belichick 7-2
  10. Kunal 50/1
  11. Told It All 12/1
  12. Muskoka Giant 20/1

As you can see Mighty Heart, who won both the Queen’s Plate and Prince of Wales Stakes is the favourite to win.  The other legitimate contenders are Belichick (7-2) and Clayton (6-1).

I personally like Mighty Heart to get the job done. He’s won the last two Triple Crown races, and defeated both Belichick and Clayton in the Queen’s Plate (and Clayton in the Prince of Wales). There are no new top contenders in the field, so I think he will take his rightful place in this field and cross the finish line first.
