Overview:

I don’t have a lot of time today for my normal longer overview. I’m just going to give some stats. The Raptors are 3-8 in their last 11 games. They have failed to score 100 points in their last 4 games. Of their last 8 losses 5 of them have been by a margin of less than 10 points. They are 11-8 on the road this season. They are 7-0 versus Atlantic division opponents. Their next game is Sunday at home versus Detroit. Philadelphia has lost 3 in a row and 5 of their last 6 games. They have failed to score 100 points in their last 19 games. The last time they reached the 100 point plateau was December 13th in a 120-115 overtime loss at home versus Memphis. 12 of their last 13 losses have been by a margin of 16 or more points. They are 3-17 at home this season. They are 1-8 versus Atlantic division opponents. Tonight is the 1st game of a back to back. They are 2-8 in the 1st game of a back to back so far this season. Tomorrow night they play at Memphis.

Toronto was victorious in their first 2 meetings with Philadelphia this season. On November they scored a 120-88 win at home versus the Sixers and on January 14th they notched a 100-84 home victory versus the 76ers. After 2 tonight the 2 teams play 1 more time this season, March 2nd at Philadelphia.

Prediction:

Although the Raptors are struggling at the moment playing the 76ers might be at least a one night cure for their ills. The Sixers are way too young to be able to compete on most nights in the NBA and they’ve shown that thus far this season. The Raptors should have an easy time of this one. If it goes like I think it should it will be over by halftime. Take the Raptors -12.5 (1.90) (Bet365)
