2017 Queen’s Plate Morning Line Odds and How To Bet Guide

The first race of the Canadian Triple Crown of Thoroughbred racing takes place this Sunday at Woodbine Racetrack.  The post time for the race is 5:38pm EST and the race will be seen on TSN1, TSN3 and TSN4 from 4:30pm until 6:00pm this Sunday.

The Queen’s Plate is often considered the “Kentucky Derby” of Canada and most would agree it’s the biggest race, surrounded by the most fanfare at Woodbine each racing season.  This year we have 13 horses taking place in the race with Holy Helena the early betting favourite to win the Queen’s Plate with odds of 3-1.

How To Bet On 2017 Queen’s Plate in Canada

Here’s a quick 3 step guide to placing your bets on the Queen’s Plate race this weekend.

#1. Open an Account at SportsInteraction.com

Sports Interaction is our top rated sportsbook for good reason.  They only accept Canadian sign ups, which means the betting site is completely catered towards Canadians wants and needs, and they also offer a very solid sign up bonus of $200.  I also find their Racebook has one of the best layouts I’ve seen and it’s very easy to understand how to place your bets on each race.

Click here to visit SportsInteraction.com and open an account.

#2. Make a Deposit

As I mentioned above, Sports Interaction only accepts Canadian residents, and this has allowed them to completely focus on Canadian deposits and withdrawals.  This is very helpful because it allows Sports Interaction to quickly process Canadian deposits & withdrawals through a variety of methods.  You can check some of them out here on our payment options page.

Remember Sports Interaction offers a 100% up to $200 bonus for new sign ups, so I suggest depositing $200+ in your first deposit.  The bonus is very easy to clear and you are not offered any bonuses for reloads, so take advantage of the bonus offer when it’s presented to you.

#3. Place Your Bets

Now that you have money online, you’re ready to place your Queen’s Plate bets.

Click on the ‘Racebook’ link in the top navigation bar after signing into your account.  On the left sidebar you should select ‘Canadian Thoroughbred’.  This will drop down a menu that includes Woodbine racetrack.  Select Woodbine and find the race with a post time of 5:38pm.  This will be the Queen’s Plate.

Here’s a screenshot of the Sports Interaction racebook screen with an arrow pointing at the Woodbine Racetrack link.  Sorry for the blurry image, I quickly shrunk it to fit on this page.
