With the Belmont Stakes in the books, the USA Triple Crown races are all complete and the focus can now shift to the Canadian horse racing season.  The North America Cup is set to take place this Saturday at the Mohawk Racetrack in Campbellville, Ontario.  The doors open at the track at 4pm and the post time for the North America Cup is 10:45pm.  The purse is a hefty $1,000,000 which makes the North America Cup the biggest race in Canada for 3-year old pacers and there’s some solid horses in this years field once again.

A horse named ‘Huntsville’ is the big favourite heading into Saturday night with his odds opening at 8/5 for the race after posting a time of 1:49.1 in his elimination race, which was the best of the field.

The race will be shown on TSN3 and TSN5 this Saturday with the broadcast starting at 10pm EST.
