2016 North America Cup Morning Line Odds and How To Bet

North America Cup 2016The USA Triple Crown races are all in the books and it’s now time for the first big Canadian horse race of the season.  The North America Cup is set to take place this Saturday at Mohawk Racetrack in Campbellville, Ontario.  The $1 million race is the most prestigious race in Canada for three-year-old pacers and the big prize pool brings in some great horses.

A horse aptly named ‘Betting Line’ is the favourite heading into the race with morning line odds of 5/2 after posting a time of 1:49.1.  There are 10 horses set to run in this race on Saturday.

The race is set to take place at 6:30pm this Saturday and will be shown on TSN.

2016 North America Cup Morning Line Odds

I’ve posted the morning line odds for the North America Cup below.  It’s important to understand that these odds will change throughout the day on Saturday depending on how much money comes in on each horse.  This is standard in horse racing and you can read more about it on our parimutuel betting information page.

  • Betting Line 5/2
  • Boston Red Rocks 3/1
  • Lyons Snyder 4/1
  • Big Top Hanover 6/1
  • Control The Moment 8/1
  • Racing Hill 10/1
  • Michaels Victory 12/1
  • Manhattan Beach 15/1
  • Magnum J 15/1
  • Beast Mode 20/1

Betting Line is the betting favourite, but Boston Red Rocks and Lyons Snyder also have fairly short odds and are being looked at as threats to win this Saturday.

How To Bet On 2016 North America Cup

I was going to give you my picks for the race, but I really couldn’t find much information on these horses, so instead I’ll just provide you with the information to bet on this race online.  If you have some information you can probably make a good bet on this type of race and cash in.

#1. Open an Account at SportsInteraction.com

Click here to visit SportsInteraction.com and open an account.  SIA is our top rated sportsbook for Canadians and they’re currently offering a great 100% up to $125 sign up bonus that you can take advantage of.  I also find their racebook the easiest to navigate of any I’ve seen online.

#2. Make a Deposit

You’ll need to fund your account in order to have funds to bet online.  You can check out some typical deposit methods here.  Sports Interaction only accepts Canadian bettors and because of this they’ve made depositing and withdrawing from your account extremely easy.

Remember the bonus is 100% up to $125 on your first deposit, so I suggest taking advantage of this because you won’t get another bonus offer this good for reloads.

#3. Place Your Bet

Now that you have funds online I’ll explain how to place your wager at SportsInteraction.com.

Click the ‘Racebook’ link in the top navigation bar on the site.  Once on the page in the left sidebar you’ll see a Canadian flag with ‘Thoroughbred’ and ‘Harness’ as the options.  Select the ‘Harness’ drop down menu and select ‘Mohawk’.  This will bring up all of the races for the day at Mohawk Racetrack.  Select the number of the race that has the post time of 6:30pm.  This is the North America Cup.

Here’s a screenshot of what the SIA racebook will look like (this is from a random race when I was writing this article):

SIA Racebook Example

You can see that you can choose between Straight and Exotic horse racing betting options.  In this screenshot I have it set on Straight betting, which allows you to bet on the win, place or show wagers.

If you’re new to horse racing betting I suggest checking out my detailed info page here.

That’s it for now.

If you’re ready to bet on the North America Cup, click here to visit SportsInteraction.com.
